At the very heart of this unique drama program is the importance of Drama Education as a learning tool and a learning strategy.

The Let it Shine Education- Drama lessons are very different from those of other drama programs. The learning activities help the students to become more confident, to express their ideas more clearly and to, above all, develop their social skills. The students are not forced to rehearse for one final performance during the term. Instead, they are presented with the opportunity to ‘shine’ through a diverse range of drama learning activities.

The students are given the opportunity to work in pairs, in groups and to work independently. Throughout the term the students engage in improvisation, storytelling, mime, mask, Reader’s Theatre, movement, puppetry and play-building.​

As Director and Teacher, I encourage the strengths of all students and motivate them to become involved in team building activities. Drama Education is a great way to inspire and to reach the needs of students with different learning styles and interests. Creativity is a gift that should be motivated and nurtured!
